“Thom Cavalli’s workshops are a delightful mix of scholarship and performance art, including symbolic ritual mummification and culinary offerings from recipes created by victims of the Holocaust that demonstrate obscure alchemical principles, operations and procedures. One can never be sure what to expect from this wily modern-day trickster, but rest assured that a higher order always emerges from his special brand of alchemy.”
Thom's keynote addresses include seminars and workshops given at a number of prestigious institutions. Here's a partial list: Cambridge University, UK (2014), the Jung Society of Vancouver (2013), the Esalen Institute, the American Psychological Association, the Jungian Society of Scholarly Studies, the Los Angeles Jung Institute, the Philosophical Research Society, the Phoenix Jung Club, the Philomon conference at Pacifica Graduate School, the International Alchemy conferences, the Orange County Jung Club, Krotona Theosophical Society, the Scottsdale Art Museum, Unity Church of Tustin, the Bowers Museum, the University Club at the University of California, Irvine and many more community and corporate presentations.
Thom has given two extensive series on alchemical psychology, one is a six seminar series called Introduction to Alchemical in which he provides the basic principles of the Art, and a second five seminar series, Jungian Alchemical Healing, that focuses more on application.
Both series are available on Jungianarchedemy.com.
Also, Thom has opened up a Facebook page for anyone seriously wanting to know more about the Art and exchange ideas. https://www.facebook.com/groups/intro2alchemy
And finally, Thom has recently published two new articles, one in Psychological Perspectives called Inanna and Osiris, Archetypal Functons of the Individuation Process, and another titled Dream as Prima Materia available in Quandrant.
